Our Story
“It takes one day to learn to make string- and the rest of your life to master it”
Handspun scarf containing Anatolian Shephard, Corriedale, Jacob, Coloured Ryeland, Kent Romney, Shetland, and Black Welsh Mountain Wool
Brian is a hand spinner of almost a year, with a distinctly relaxed and positive attitude towards sharing the love of spinning yarn with others. Predominantly working with fleeces and fiber thoughtfully sourced from small businesses, local farms, and farmers raising breeds on the Livestock Conservancy list he believes it is important to preserve the genetics of endangered livestock and support the American farmers doing so. He values play in fiber art, which is reflected in his one on one lessons, where he not only teaches spinners how to make yarn, but also how to trust your artistic instincts and make handspun yarn you are excited to use! If you are interested in lessons and are located in the NJ/NY/PA area please send an inquiry via our contact page!
